Eva Lohse is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on January 23, 1956 in Ludwigshafen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. As of June 1, 2023, Eva has a net worth approximately $5 Million. Alongside her duties in her capacity as mayor, Lohse also served as the president of Deutscher Stadtetag from June 2015 until December 2017. This group serves as the principal of the lobbying group and organization for 3400 German cities in relation to and the Cabinet of Germany, the German Bundestag and the Bundesrat of Germany as well as German Bundesrat and the European Union (EU) and numerous other organizations.
Lohse was born in Ludwigshafen in 1956. She was a law student in the Universities of Heidelberg, Geneva and Freiburg. After the first state exam she studied administrative law at the Verwaltungshochschule Speyer. In 1995, she was awarded the Doctor of Law. From 1987 until 1996, she held various positions in Regional Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate as well as the department of police Rheinpfalz located in Ludwigshafen. From 1996 until 2001 Lohse was an instructor in the Fachhochschule of Public Administration, Department of Labor Administration in Mannheim teaching the subjects of administrative as well as employment law and social law.
Lohse became a part of to the Christian Democratic Union and was elected to the city council in her hometown of Ludwigshafen in 1994.
The election took place in May of 2001. Lohse got elected as mayor of Ludwigshafen in the first round, with 55.51 percent of the votes. She became the first city’s directly elected female Oberburgermeister and was the only Christian Democrat in this position since 1945. In 2004, she was in discussion to become the top candidate for the CDU in the state elections in Rhineland-Palatinate. But she decided not to contest against the chair of the CDU party, Christoph Bohr. On June 7, 2009, she was elected during the initial round of voting with 53.7 percent of votes.
